Festival of Autumn

November bright in Georgia

cool air bathes my soul

My eyes rejoice in colors as fall’s tapestry unfolds

woven by the Master’s hand

in reds and greens and golds

The quick progression thrills me

as the hills in colors roll into an azure sky

inviting me to stroll through a sensory kaleidoscope

whispering behold

The smoke from Hudson’s bar-b-que is fragrant in the air

Dodson’s pond is shimmering with sunlight dancing there

The festival of Autumn boast the harvest wealth

It’s a season full of blessings the Master’s hand has dealt

James 1: 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of light

in whom there is no variableness neither shadow of turning.
