Bent and twisted

Christmas has always been a special season for me. A love, hate time of year, it has often bent and twisted me from apathy to despair to joyful elation and back again. Tinsel and tears. Maybe it’s the good vs evil factor. No shopping frenzy: Evil. Shop till you drop, budget busting, gifting orgy: Good. By this measure it’s no contest. Good is in the lead with a wide margin. But, back there in the dust, you can just barely see it, Evil is making a come back. Those wicked rascals. We must watch them or before long it will just be a boring time of simple joys and peace. Oh, gag me.

????!  I\’ll gag you if you want, but Christmas is a great holiday if only you step back and realize that our \’modern\’ Christmas is brought to us by corporate America!  "How much can we sell and how fast can we do it"?  Just sit back and relax….  Enjoy the holidays!!  And as a tip??  Buy them SOCKS!!!

Just remember that Christmas marks the birth of Jesus and let the evil stuff pass you by.
