On the couch

Sometimes I don’t understand why it is so difficult to understand. Actions once spoke louder than words. I learned it as a kid. Obviously the lessons were revised in these post microwave days. It doesn’t matter what you do. It only matters what you say regarding what some say you did. Deeds done couldn’t be undone in those quaint days. Though memories were short and grace was long the liar chose a difficult road. Only the repentant was forgiven. Not so today. Revision seems to be the fashion of the times. Tell a lie sincerely enough and the deed is deleted. Key stroked gone. Never happened.  Completely absolved. The mere mention of it is forbidden to those seeking truth. How can they be so slanderous. Narrow minded bigoted zealots lost in the haze of conservatism. The times they are a changing but, for the time being, it is a free country. In theory. Your vote will be helpful.

It is a hard decision this time around, but I promise you, I will vote.

    Oh yes…revisionism…yes indeed.

This era seems to believe that we have absolved ourelves of justice.  We are afraid of justice because to render justice might put us on the wrong side of political correctness.  We would have to make judgements based on a real standard.  To even whisper such things in the halls of academia are no longer safe.

Sorry for the sermon.  You pulled my chain, or was that my finger?  If this sounded more like a fart, it must have been the finger.

Yep..  Vote we must.  If we step back from that, we enter the on ramp to a periolous, much worse danger than merely choosing the lesser of two weak candidates.

    Damn.  There I go again…

    I better sign of now..
