To what end is their idea logically destined?
Is that destination for you and those
you care about? Or, is it just another
clunker? Costing us money we don’t have
to provide the temporary gratification of
an artificial recovery. Band-Aid fixes feel good
anyway! Vroom-vroom. And so it is with insurance
reform. What’s broken? My premium is paid weekly.
On the front end it seems like an unnecessary expense.
On the back end, what a deal! At least that is the plan.
In my clunker years will the value set be adequate?
Tort reform needs a serious look. My client, your honor,
is my meal ticket and, he has suffered so much.

Band-aid solutions are just that – quick, temporary fixes that may or may not work for particular circumstances. Watch the movie "…and justice for all" and you will know why people hate lawyers. Not all of them are bad, but the bad ones are enough to make all look bad.

We need to reform the legal system in the US as well as in Canada. But no reform will take place until it\’s possible to take a lawyer up on ethics charges without having to be represented by a lawyer. Most Lawyers are like the Mafia. You don\’t dare criticize them for fear they\’ll send you a subpoena and tie you up in court for the rest of your life and take everything you have. :o(
Yea Seth I hear you. Situational ethics are hard to nail down. Moral relativity being such as it is can justify \’pertnear anything. We are reaping the whirlwind of humanism and the gods in our own image are failing us. Reform is needed first in the hearts and minds of men like you and I. Reform in the likeness of revival. A revival of the spirit of God that breathed inspiration upon our founding fathers to write a document upon which a nation of free men could be built. Mindful even at the time of its writing that the terrible blight of slavery existed, with the courage of their convictions they laid the foundation for slavery\’s abolition.Our nation has been a beacon to the world and the world has come to these shores. Now we have men, native sons who espouse the revolutionary ideas of Marx, Lenin, Mao, Castro and Chavez. Yea we need reform. We need to emerge from the cocoon of indifference, shake off the bindings of political correctness and let folks know that our God reigns. He inspired our founding fathers and has brought us forth at this very time for this very moment of revival. It\’s an old R word but, that\’s what we need. j
End-time Christians already have a good reason not to be fixated on the cares of this world. The perilous state of many issues facing our country should only add to the urgency of being focused on promoting the kingdom of God. You could not be more correct… our God reigns.
Seth, I\’ve always been a little bothered by labels. End-time Christian is one that I have to wander about. It really doesn\’t fit. I don\’t know why, it just feels kinda baggy. All encompassing, one size fits all. Well, maybe so. One just never knows when his end-time is scheduled. I check the obits daily just to be sure.j
It was the best I could think of at that the time. 🙂 Labels? I suppose it depends on what you mean "labels". If someone was in jail for child rape, I would like to know who and where he is…..Yes, I would "Label" him a pedophile. But honestly, I try not to adopt \’labels\’ myself. I try real hard and believe that \’we all\’ should just be called humans or people. But, as with most things, there are exceptions.

That could actually be a real nice \’clunker there in your pic. Some things are really nice old fashioned… like furniture, books, houses, cars, and even some of us old men! :o) And let\’s not forget the \’old fashioned girls\’. Hubba Hubba!!! Some old fashioned things are just nice. Some things are definetly much better back then, as they are nowadays.
