Sometimes

Sometimes when a slice of the world is presented one can only stop and marvel at its beauty. Simple. Reminiscent of another time when we were jaded with simple things. Monotonous rural similarities and familiarities no more refreshing than the grit of a dusty road. Attitudes change with time and God allows time to not change a slice of world here and there. Call it nostalgia for a bygone era. I call it gift from one wiser than all men. A place where His hand has hidden a secret in plain sight. Protecting it for those who come wondering by one day tired and weary of the journey. Revealed at just the right moment to eyes hungry for home. Sometimes when we’re homesick God has just the cure.

God made life simple. It is man who complicates it. :o) Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money. ~ Cree Indian Proverb

I like the sentiment, not to mention the photos. Beauty is often found in solitude. The sound of too much joy drives it away. Be well,J.
