Talking about A Question

A Question

What is it going to take before God brings this country to it’s knees? Some say; A war, “We have been there and done that.”

Then maybe a terrorist attack; “Well we’ve been there too.”

What about a nuclear attack? “Don’t think so.”

How about an all out planet war? “Never will happen.”

I know, an Economy melt down, Not really, “we’ve been there too.”

So I ask you the question again; What will it take before God brings

this country to it’s knees?

One comment on Granpa’s post kinda struck a cord with me. This was my reply which was too long so, I’ll just blog it.  I hope I haven’t muddied the waters Granpa.

I have trouble understanding a country that will sacrifice it’s sons and daughters in defense of an idea as well. An idea threatened by ideas contrary to it must maintain constant vigilance. Some go so far to say it is a battle between darkness and light. I too am amazed  that American exceptionallism has accomplished so much and is yet so misunderstood. Yes, in God we trust is on our money but is it in our hearts? For what cause are we willing to die?  "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants". Our fathers prayed we would not reach this point. GrandPa and I and others are fearful we have. Who will rise to the challenge this time so that Europe and freedom loving people everywhere can continue to enjoy the fruits of liberty?

for a start… stop being polite and call a marxist a marxist…. a progressive is what, what is a liberalunderstand why the marxists want control, why they feel they know best…. look at monarchy and compare with the ruling elite.we will sink into the mire and few will have the moxie to crawl out

  2. kïrstin says:

God doesnt really bring countries to their knees anymore. He brings indiviuals to their knees. i know people mostly dont agree with that. but God isnr as political as people are.k☼

  3. J says:

Well said Kirstin. God brings a country to its knees one person at the time.

  4. J says:

Yes John it is not hard to imagine the pointy little crowns on the heads of some of our elected officials. Darn, there I go being polite again!

  5. Stephen Craig says:

J, God has no place in the affairs of man or politics and thus is seldom seen or heard from as of late. The free will of the people, each and every one that expresses the desire, responsibility, and cause of freedom is paramountin living the will and holding holy the Constitution as we move on. As ever be well

  6. Janae's Fallgirl says:

Or so it may seem Stephen, it is true there are those who try to shut him.

  7. J says:

I hear you Stephen and so it would seem that human eyes and ears often miss the hand of God as it moves most creatively in the affairs of men. Indeed when we hold holy the Constitution it is only because God breathed wisdom into the hearts of our fathers. Through their faith in the in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob the American idea was born.
